Introducing Noto House, a spacious, light-filled passive house that maximises thermal comfort and performance. Thoughtfully oriented and crafted, this home seamlessly merges sustainability with modern living. At its heart lies a central planted courtyard that divides the living and sleeping wings, allowing natural light to flood the interiors while offering an ever-present connection to nature.
Framed views of the surrounding escarpments provide a stunning backdrop, bringing the beauty of the outdoors into every corner of the home. Durable, low-maintenance materials were chosen to ensure longevity and ease of upkeep.
Built by Souter Built, expert builders in passive house design, Noto House exemplifies the best in energy efficiency and comfort. Inspiration for the home was drawn from the original cottage that once stood on the site, with repurposed hardwood studs from the old structure integrated into the new design. This respectful nod to the past complements the modern features, creating a home that is as much about heritage as it is about forward-thinking architecture.
